Torrie is a couture gown inspired by the powerful movement, depth, and layered beauty of ocean waves. Designed as part of Atousa Atelier’s ocean-inspired concept collection, this piece transforms the rhythm and energy of water into a sculptural, wearable form.

The asymmetrical silhouette flows around the body like moving waves. A structured corseted base defines the bodice, while sheer and layered elements evoke the transparency and depth of the sea.

One of the signature elements of Torrie is the presence of handcrafted three-dimensional floral sculptures placed on the bodice and waist. These couture flowers were entirely designed, shaped, and constructed by hand over two full working days, adding both strength and softness to the design—like ocean blooms emerging from beneath the surface.

The dramatic wave-inspired train is constructed using over 10 meters of fabric, with total fabric consumption reaching approximately 15 meters due to extensive bias-cut construction. Each wave-like fabric element was individually shaped, layered, and secured by hand, creating continuous movement and transforming the train into a sculptural extension of the gown rather than a traditional silhouette.

Torrie is a fully custom, one of a kind couture creation, designed and handcrafted exclusively for Atousa Atelier. This piece cannot be replicated.
